ORDERTRUST APPOINTS PHILIP SUMMERS VICE PRESIDENT OF PRODUCT MANAGEMENT

LOWELL, Mass., June 7, 1999 -- OrderTrust, provider of the leading order processing network, announced today the appointment of Phil Summers to the position of vice president of product management. Summers previously directed marketing operations for Compaq Computer Corp.’s Internet Solutions Business division. As vice president of product management at OrderTrust, Summers will lead the development and execution of OrderTrust’s product strategy.

Summers previously spent two years at Compaq, a global leader in personal computer systems, where he served as director of marketing for Compaq’s Internet Solutions Business division. His responsibilities included managing the development of Compaq’s first Internet appliance, the Prosignia NeoServer and the launch of Compaq’s Online Services, a suite of services that included Internet access and security, as well as various e-commerce payment and Web store options capable of handling order-processing and customer billing. Also, while at Compaq, Summers was responsible for the development of alliance partner relationships with national and international Internet Service Providers (ISP’s) and the creation of creative marketing and promotional campaigns.

Prior to his position at Compaq, Summers served as director of marketing and sales for Tradeshow Central, a tradeshow and conference information site on the Internet. Prior to that, Phil spent 10 years at Digital Equipment where he most recently held the position of a product manager for the company’s Workstation Product Group. Summers graduated from Boston University with a Master of Business Administration degree and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Babson College.
